Fire Commissioner Applications

The Board of Trustees of the McHenry Township Fire Protection District (District) are accepting applications for qualified McHenry Township Fire Protection District residents who would like to be considered for an initial appointment to the Board of Fire Commissioners (BOFC) for the McHenry Township Fire Protection District.   The Board of Fire Commissioners consists of three members.  There are three positions available; one member shall be appointed to serve until the first Monday in June of 2022, another to serve until the first Monday of June 2023, and the third to be appointed to serve until the first Monday in June 2024.  Additional information about the Board of Fire Commissioners is available on the District website https://www.mtfpd.org/bc-bfc.

Applicants interested in the position of Fire Commissioner, please forward a “Letter of Intent” to the District President, Allen Miller at McHenry Township Fire Protection District at 3610 West Elm Street, McHenry, IL 60050 before January 1, 2022.   Applicants will be contacted regarding interviews for the position Fire Commissioner.
